Having been one of the greatest critics of our oriental owners.
How do you feel about the potential aquisistion of the club by an American hedge fund operation.
See what a similar organisation did to Coventry, is all rosey at St Andrews.
I do have one or two misgivings, but surely they cant be as bad at running the club as the current "businessmen" are.

Well, the one thing you can say about them is that they aren't "faceless", unlike the current mob, so that's a positive sign. Plus hedge fund managing isn't illegal, unlike money laundering, so that's another.
I know very little about the ways of the financial world, but if I understand hedge fund management correctly, it seems like a company or individual who makes a very good living out of taking on failing companies is exactly what BCFC is looking for. Of course, failing companies can be a bit like the Titanic, in that they've got far too much speed in their voyage towards the iceberg that they can't be turned round in time.
Daniel seems optimistic about what's happening, which is unusual as he is the World Champion Chip Pisser of all time, so I suppose that is good enough for me.
For the time being!

Like you, I dont claim to understand the mysteries of Hedge Funds and why they are known as that...I see a google search coming up.
One thing that I am sure of, is that they need investors, who want a return on their investements. So therefore they need to keep the investors happy, will investing in a head case company like the Blues going to keep them happy ?
I would guess that knowing it may take two years to get full contro, that time scale must have been factored in with the business plan, so we have got a minimum of two years to get a ball rolling...not long is it.
