Bex is visiting, and I took the opportunity of having a substitute carer to go to a pre-season friendly at Teignmouth Rugby Club.

We had a great night. Thanks for pulling it together Mulv.
And Karoline and Tony were deserved winners.
We were not too disappointed with our poor showing. We are clearly lacking match practice.

I loved how Tony threw his questions together and we were all completely useless at them. 😁

Any chance of posting some of the questions, just to give me something to do during the week?

Any chance of posting some of the questions, just to give me something to do during the week? These are the questions I asked..... Many Cities go by other names, for example New York is also known as The Big Apple. Can you name these 5 Cities? 1) Which UK City is also known as "Auld Reekie"? 2) Which North American city is also known as "The Big Easy"? 3) Which European City is also known as "The City of Light"? 4) Which UK city is also known as "The Granite City"? 5) Which North American city is also known as "Bean Town"? And another 5 just for fun. 6) Which UK city is also known as "The City of Dreaming Spires?" 7) Which North American city is commonly known as "Motown?" 8) Which North American City is also known as "The City of Brotherly Love"? 9) Which European City is also known as "The Eternal City?" 10) Which two North American cities are also known as "The Twin Cities"? I expect you will get all of them but the last one is a bit tricky so I will accept just one of them. Good luck.

The Twin Cities are Minneapolis & St Paul. Known locally as MSP, they were the nearest cities to Menomonie, where I did my third year teaching practice

Mine were all on Paddington.
1) Who wrote "A Bear Called Paddington"?
2) How many underground lines connect with Paddington Station?
3) When was the film Paddington made?
4) In the film, what was special about the "old gentleman in a bar" who raises a glass as Paddington's taxi goes past?
5) Why do cuddly Paddington toys wear wellies when the "real" Paddington never does?
