It's a nice morning here, and we had a rare meteorological event called "the Larry". This is when the river Teign is enveloped in a low mist - I took a photo out of our living room window, but it wasn't very good and I don't know how to upload it, so have a look at this video for the last time it happened last year ... It has some history to it, apparently ... rmets.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/qj.4970094610

We had a trip to Albi yesterday. The weather has been drizzly for a couple of weeks and the Tarn is carrying a huge amount of water. The Hydro Electric Dam at Trebas had the sluices wide open and water was still coming over the top of the Dam but the roadway over the Dam was still open.
Today we are having a deluge and we have an Orange flood warning. Water is coming down the road outside the house about 1/2" deep. Not deep enough for slalom canoes.....yet!!!

We occasionally get something similar to the Larry on the way to work. As we drive over Llandegla Moors the clouds are below us all around. It's a spectacular sight

It rained all day here too, but after heavy rain in the morning the deluge that was forecast after lunch was nothing more than drizzle really.

We loved being above the clouds when we went up Tiede. It was strange looking down on them!
