Clear, bright and cold here.
Its colder indoors than out. In fact its blooming freezing. The perils of living in an uninsulated stone hovel.
I might get the 4 season sleeping bags out to sit in.

My word, how it rained this afternoon! There are some advantages to living up a hill, one of which being the reduced risk of flooding 30 years ago, there was some severe flooding of the river Severn, my two daughters were worried about us being flooded out. I tried to explain that the West Midlands is on a plateau and we live half way up a hill on that plateau, nothing I could say would convince them...thankfully a teacher told them the same thing and that we would be most unlikely to suffer major flooding./. Moral of the story, trust a teacher in every word they say, BUT never trust your Dad.

He did say 30 years go. A lot has changed in that time DAD IS ALWAYS RIGHT....EVEN WHEN HE IS WRONG. BUT REMEMBER MOM IS NEVER EVER WRONG.
I have survived nearly 40 years of fatherhood working on that premise. Its safer that way.
