Tonight. Driving to Daventry to pick up the two eldest grandkids. Tomorrow. Grandson is going with John to see Donny Rovers and granddaughter is coming with me to see Blues. Meeting Mulv in Good Intent around 12.30 then off to watch Blues get a thrashing from Preston. Home made sushi for tea (not for me as I don't like rice but the grandkids love it) Sunday. Visit from youngest granddaughter in the morning. Roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings, before taking the big ones back home.
Have a good one everyone

Today: Haldon for coffee this morning, picked up the kit from the laundry and returned it to the rugby club. Nap this afternoon, then preparing couscous with chicken and spicy sausages.
Tomorrow: Incredibly Sarah and I are going out together - before tomorrow's match against Bridgwater there is the Annual Members' Lunch, so we're going to tuck into a carvery before watching the match, and then we're having cheese and cold meats in the evening. A Saturday without cooking! Almost unknown in our house.
Sunday: Reports in the morning, then as we're having a roast tomorrow we'll have a pork and cider casserole on Sunday.

Sounds good both!
Tonight: usual - tea at Jean's, bath, telly, bed. Been really enjoying Winterwatch this week. Pure filth if you listen carefully 😁
Tomorrow: football for the first time in many months, and (I think) only the third or possibly fourth time this season. Meeting Su in the Good Intent, electric scooter to StAn's, watch Blues get taught a footballing lesson again, back to the GI for a swifty then home to see what the Boss has cooked.
Sunday: walkies!

This morning I have rewired the utility room for the washing machine and freezer. I had to go to the garage to pull the wires through the concrete floor, and shock horror. Our nice new composite telegraph pole is leaning at an angle of about 20 degrees. When they put it in they put a steel hawser in to stop it leaning. The hawser mountings have broken and all the telephone lines in Geriatric Corner are pulled tight. The phone lines to Maurice across the road have pulled off the wall. Had a wander down to the Mairie but it is closed until Monday. Just about to drop Jean-Claude the Mayor an email. Luckily the pole is leaning away from the house. The standard of workmanship here is absolutely shocking. The telephone and Internet could go down at any time.
Moussaka and Salad for tea.
Saturday...
Rewire the Satellite dish through the extension, garage and cellar. Then up through the lounge floor to the Telly. Its a bit of a convoluted run but I cannot get through the 600mm thick stone wall between the extension and lounge that Will amusingly called "The Dungeon". Its a good description in all fairness.
We have had a week of very rich meals so its Salad, Cheeses and Charcuterie for tea.
Sunday...
Plasterboarding 2 walls in the Utility Room.
Chicken Madras for tea with Poppadums and Fried Basmati.
Have a good one everybody.
