Ok I know it’s only Thursday but my out of office is on so it must be the weekend
Tomorrow. Face to face doctors appointment at 10:30. Yes I know. I can’t believe it either. A bit of shopping of stuff we couldn’t get at Asda as as we’re supplying breakfast, then it’s off up to Doncaster to pick up JBs brother and sister-in-law before carrying on to Whitby where we’ve rented a cottage for the weekend. JBs other brother and wife will be joining us too. Friday night. Sad Cafe at Whitby pavilion, pop into the 7:30 zoom as their not on until 8) followed by a curry and all the accompaniments courtesy of my sister-in-law Saturday. Full English to set us up for the day then a wander around Whitby (ok pub crawl!) Saturday night we’ve booked a restaurant for us all. Cheese, crackers, crisps and dips courtesy for the other S-I-L. Sunday. See Saturday plus a tour round a microbrewery Sunday night. Fish, chips and cocktails. More cheese etc Monday. Home time via Doncaster
Have a good one everyone
PS Full English consists of Bacon, Sausage, eggs (if we can get some), beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding and toast (if we can get bread)

Friday...
A bit of plastering. Its much easier when its cold and not 35C like it was in the summer.
An earlier Zoom, thanks Will. A 10pm finish was way past my bedtime.
Salad for tea to give our stomachs a rest from a week of rich meals.
Saturday...
An afternoon / evening sat sitting in front of the telly watching rugby.
Chicken Pathia with fried Basmati while watching the England game
Sunday...
Nothing planned. It will involve work of some kind in the morning, I just do not know what yet.
Watch Italy versus France in the rugby in the afternoon.
Lasagne for tea with a salad.
Have a good one everybody.

Today: Widecombe. Steak. Cheese. Zoom.
Tomorrow: Sidmouth for rugby. Paella.
Sunday: Reports. Lamb for lunch. Sounds of the70s. Final episode of Happy Valley.
Sorry it's brief, but you lot could probably have written it for me, it's so predictable.

We have really enjoyed Happy Valley. Gutted that it’s going to be the last one Sunday and we’ll have to wait until Monday to watch it as well. I’m going to avoid all social media from 9pm until we get home.
What do you think of the theory that Claire is going to get shot, saving Caroline. Especially after their row last week?

I’m going to avoid all social media from 9pm until we get home. What do you think of the theory that Claire is going to get shot, saving Caroline. Especially after their row last week? Got to admit that I haven't seen any theories - I'm a bit mystified at the way this third series has suddenly provoked so much excitement, tobe honest. We've been watching since the first series and have enjoyed it, but not in a "Line of Duty" sort of way. Part of our reason for watching it is similar to one of the reasons why I enjoy watching the Tour de France - for the scenery. I suppose the Beeb has done a good job of hyping it up this time round - it's been years since the last series, and now they've got these podcasts for stirring up interest, plus they've been getting it discussed on other TV stations and the radio. To me it's a really well acted copshow, with Sarah Lancashire doing a brilliant job of leading the cast. But there's no real sympathetic character - sure you feel a certain amount for Lancashire's character, but she's become so worn down by the storylines that she now looks like she's capable of doing the sort of thing that she's supposed to be protecting the public from. So, to answer your question, I reckon any one or more of the main characters could end up in the morgue on Sunday evening, and almost any one of them could be responsible. I just hope that it's not as anti-climactic as the last series of Line of Duty was.

Tonight - tea at Jean's, zoom, telly, bed
Sat - finish washing Jac's gear, pack it and send him off to Oz AGAIN. Hope he makes it this time.
Sun - Shopping, cooking, walking. No Happy Valley for me - I tried but I can't stand the misery.

I'm fairly sure that, even in Yorkshire, you can buy eggs and bread.

We did get both however and a full English was enjoyed by all. Yum yum

I've got so many eggs I've just pickled a dozen of them to save wasting them. Is there a shortage? Genuine question.
