I only went for the interview yesterday.

What a day. Such mixed emotions. Spoke to the guy who interviewed me for the job I really wanted within the NHS. Sorry you haven’t been informed but you didn’t get the job. What a 💩 way to treat people.
Went to the office as I knew everyone was in today so I could tell them, face to face. I was so nervous. Feeling sick, hands shaking etc. ‘Ripped off the plaster’ and told the managers together. To say they were shocked is an understatement
Then proceeded to tell the rest of my team, receptionist, the other team I’d been working for etc etc
Without sounded big-headed, I’ve had such lovely comments. Mostly on the lines of ‘congratulations but blimey you’re going to be missed’
Now all I have to do is work out my notice!!
