Well it appears that spring has finally arrived here in the UK and the April showers have done one.
Cloudy but dry.

Yesterday was just a deluge. But today it is dry and very cool with a spot of rain in the air.
Heavy rain due later.

Cool here for most of the day, then sunny and warm this afternoon.
Fooled me into doing too much digging and planting (chillies, leeks and onions) and now my back is sore.

This is true - we received a message to this effect a couple of weeks back. This despite the fact that it rained almost every day in March and on several occasions in April, and the rugby pitch was still flooded in places at the end of last week. |
