And a hard spot for Leeds.
Shame about Leicester

Up until a few years back Leicester were the team that we'd played most often. Until 7 years ago they had a similar lack of success to Blues, but now they've won two trophies which we will never win.
They've moved on and yet still ended up getting relegated - doesn't give middle-of-the-road clubs like us much to look forward to.

One of our colleagues is an Everton ST holder. I've seen what he's been going through this season (just like we have countless times) and I couldn't want them to go down.
It hurts when we're relegated, but we're sort of inured to it because of the familiarity of the situation. It's a new one on Ross and he didn't cope with it well - even when I reminded him there'd be extra games in the Championship 😁

My mate Darryl is an Everton fan. I didn't want to spite him, but I wanted them to go down. I reckon that after nearly 70 years in the top flight he and his co-fans have no right to expect an eternal presence there. In my life time I've seen Man U, Spurs, Chelsea and Man C all get relegated and I don't see why Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal shouldn't get a taste of that particular medicine. The fans of the big clubs start whining if they go a couple of years without a trophy - it doesn't do them any harm to see what the fans of other clubs have to put up with. At present I believe we're the longest serving club in the Championship, which means that all of the others have been promoted and/or relegated in the past 12 years, and dozens of others have experienced the same fate(s) and are now in another league. For most it will have been a case of disappointment, and it's about time the Big Time Charlies suffered a bit of the same.

Blues as a club, always (many many moons ago) seemed to have a good relationship with the Toffees, did some good transfer business back in the 70's and more recently we both seemed to have suffered as the minor club in our cities.
Or may be its the BLUE bit.
As for Leeds, spit spit spit...Leicester, I did feel for their fans etc, but it was 2 from 3 and Everton did it....the escaping act.
