Fuzzy sight in one eye, like there's something on my eyeball. Struggle a bit when the light is shining directly at me.
Optician appointment on Thursday, and I'm expecting him to confirm what I am 99.9% sure of, that I have at least one cataract

It is indeed a cataract.
Waiting list is currently at four years 😳
Or cough up two and a half grand and go private, and it'll be done in two weeks (except it won't because I know from Jean having hers done that there's a lot of aftercare that means I wouldn't be able to go on holiday, so I'd have it at the end of the summer).
FOUR YEARS! I'd be blind by then.

I'd pay the two and half grand. I wouldn't want to loose my sight, even if it was only in one eye. Can't you book it in for September time?

I've got a consultation appointment a week on Monday, and hoping to book the op for some time after 20th August.
