Tonight. Drive to Daventry to collect eldest grandson Tomorrow. Colemore Food Festival was the plan, however the weather may put paid to that!  Sunday. Allotment in the morning and WE’RE BABYSITTING IN THE AFTERNOON! Sorry for shouting but I’m really excited!! This will be the first time that we’ve had the youngest granddaughter without her parents as they had to wait until the adoption order had gone through!! Have a good one everyone x |

Saturday:
Crikey, it's wet! Currently not raining, and I suspect people with day tickets have decided not to bother as the crowds are quite thin, but the ground conditions are atrocious. Very wet mud (better than clayey, clingy mud) which is higher than my walking boots in places.
Events in the marquees are proving popular.

It's currently sheeting it down and the fields are impossible wet. Mud is now at the top of boots in many places.
I honestly fear for the rest of the festival - we're considering leaving in the morning, but we'll see what Tom and Elanor say.
Anyway, seen two absolutely excellent bands this evening - Divorce and The Go! Team. We also watched Moonage Daydream the Bowie biopic. That was a surreal experience 😁

Saturday - work & then collect the husband from hospital, after another admission to hospital at 3am with pancreatitis (4th time in 6 weeks) they finally decided to take his gallbladder out.
Sunday - very restful, washing & cooking & keeping TT topped up with morphine 🤪🤪
