Not exactly plans, but Sam is coming down for the weekend. He came down on Tuesday as we were in a bit of a pickle, but he'd planned for sometime to come this weekend.
Not making the mistake of planning things to do - we'll just be glad to see him again.

Today - Fiskardo and Assos then to the pool to cool down a bit. Probably eat at Il Familia tonight. Both places are in the north of Kefalonia, and both are highly picturesque ports. Fiskardo is a bit snooty and certainly overpriced. Jayne wanted to go to Assos, "because I've got a parcel to return" 🙄
Saturday - Argostoli, the "capital" of the island. Nominally 45 minutes away, but probably more like an hour in a crappy rented Suzuki Swift with me driving on mountain roads. Lunch in Argostoli then back to the pool in the afternoon. Blues kick off at 5pm here so I'll follow on Twitter or the BBC. Might go back to last night's restaurant in the evening - I had goat chops and it was lush.
Sunday - return the car then probably either taxi to Antisamos beach (where I yesterday took a pocketful of chips into the water and caused a veritable fish-nado with the hungry saddled bream) or walk to Messalani Cave - a local underground lake that a boatman rows you out onto. Dinner in Sami somewhere - there are scores of restaurants asking the harbourside, and since this is our third visit we've sussed out the good ones long ago.
Have a good one, folks!
