Estyn's report on our school is officially released on Monday, but Jayne has had an advance copy today.
I still say the stress generated by the process is ridiculous, but by gum, the report is fabulous.
They have recognised that the school is excelling in all areas, and rightly praised the role of the head teacher in achieving this.
There are two "however"s, but they are both really minor and will be sorted by half term. One is that the governors don't take part in book scrutiny sessions, and the other is that we provide too many prepared recording sheets (personally I disagree with this - the 'doing' is far more important than the writing about it).
All in all it's a brilliant report, and (fingers crossed) neither Jayne nor I will ever see Estyn again. 😁
