My first state pension payment has just gone into the bank account. If I didn't feel old before, I do now. Still, at least I haven't got to queue up outside the Post Office tomorrow morning and every other Thursday morning until I peg out.

I deferred mine for 5 years for the reason that I didn't need it. Then I thought what the hell, why let the government keep it if I die. So now I get an enhanced pension of over £200 more a month, at least I am getting (some of) my money back.

I think I've got to wait another five years, because I'm a spring chicken 😁

Yes. 67 for me. Dave Thomas got his last year at 66 too
By the time my grandkids retire they'll have to be 100 to get their pension!!
