Tonight. Excited for the Zoom. Collected granddaughter yesterday so will definitely be on time Tomorrow. FOOTBALL. Meeting brother in Good Intent with greanddaughter then off to Stans for her first game of the season. Sunday. Maybe allotment first thing but then it's a charity day for our friends daughter who was treated for a heart defect at 6 weeks old at Birmingham Childrens hospital so they are raising money for that Monday. Grandkids dad dropping grandson off here so I'll have both the big ones. Not sure what we're doing but it'll involve a walk in one of our local parks Tueday. Work but going out in the evening for my daughter in laws birthday so will have three out of five of my grandkids. Lovely

Friday...
Its cold. 32C but after the 40C+ of the last 10 days it feels positively chilly. Its wonderful. Not doing anything as my neck is still giving me a lot of pain. Sorting out pensions, (we are both old gits). Every year we have to make statements to our pension providers and the UK DWP that we still live here and are still alive. So we go for a wander over the the Mairie and get Jean-Claude the Mayor to witness our Passports and Documents and hopefully agree that we are not deceased and attest to the fact.
Settle down on the settee with my neck well supported and watch a film on the TV with a beer. Our water at the moment is shocking. It is normally wonderful but at the moment it tastes muddy and horrible so we are drinking galleons of beer as the water really is nasty to drink. Our water comes from the Tarn and because of the heat there has been an outbreak of algae which is tainting the water, so Jean-Claude says.
Minestroni Soup with crusty bread for tea. We are both off our food so a soup is ideal.
Zooming tonight. We are looking forward to that.
Saturday...
No plans due to my neck. Watch a bit of telly.
Singapore noodles for tea. I am cooking.
Sunday...
Again no plans. Chrissie will spend all day clearing the kitchen of all the mess I have made.
Probably Charcuterie and Cheese for tea. And finish the soup as Chrissie is making enough for a Prohibition Soup Kitchen.
Monday...
Its the last Night Market of the year so have a wander over and have a few beers. It should be coolish which will be good.
Have a good one everybody.

Fri - Garden centre with Jayne and Jean. I've seen the future - kill me now. Date night, zoom, wine, telly
Sat - Football! Good Intent, Footy, Good Intent, home to whatever Jayne has prepared, but I know it'll be lush
Sun - No idea, probably a decentish walk (10km or so)
Mon - Avoiding crowds and fretting about...
Tues - Cataract op. I know they're pretty much routine, but I'm not used to anything medical - I don't even take painkillers.

Remember the little op your youngest went through when she was a mere babe? Get a grip ya girl! They’re just going to poke you in the eye with an ultra sharp scalpel
Seriously. Good luck 🤢

That was five hours, and they knocked her out. This is only twenty minutes or so, but I'll be awake and able to see what they're doing. In fact I won't be able to NOT see what they're doing. 😲 I'm not worried though. 🤥

I have had both of my eyes operated on when I was a nipper and it was not pleasant. The thought of having to have it done myself fills me with dread. But its simple and safe with no discomfort apparently, and very effective. We will be thinking of you.
