I'm sure they said he was only 10 last Sunday. Our cat is 10, and he's wearing a damn sight better than Ted appears to be!

Dog years are easy enough to work out - 7x Homan years, which would make Ted the equivalent of 70
Cat years are more complicated. According to Purina the first two years of a cat’s life are roughly equal to the first 25 of a human. After this, add four ‘cat years’ for every human year. This makes a ten year old cat the equivalent of 25+(4x8)=57
Ted is a rescue dog, so his d.o.b may not be particularly accurate in any case.
