Some great live albums out there
Bursting Out - Jethro Tull At The Rainbow - Focus Live In Hammersmith - Public Service Broadcasting
but the tippermost toppermost for me is
Paris - Supertramp Really captures the excitement of a live concert. The crowd yelling, the production, the fluffed notes. Brilliant.

I love ELO world tour album. Like you say, the interaction with the audience, the excitement etc etc

Pictures at an Exhibition - ELP. But you knew I'd say that, didn't you?

I was going to put that on my own list, but then overthought myself, wondering if it was actually a live album. Of course, the phrase, "We're gonna give you Pictures At An Exhibition" at the start of side one might be a clue 😁 Into the list it goes. 😁

They released it as a bit of a sop to the record company who wanted to take advantage of their early popularity - but they only agreed to release it on condition that it was priced at a budget level. So when most albums were costing around £2.50, PAAE cost £1.49. An absolute bargain!

I pulled the Iain Anderson album Walk Into Light out of the LP pile the other day. The price sticker was on it from 1983 - £4.29 😁

Incidentally, the last of my birthday presents arrived today - a limited edition white vinyl copy of the Public Service Broadcasting album of the BBC Prom from last year celebrating 100 years of the BBC, "This New Noise"
It might well become my new favourite live album. The title track is being played regularly on 6Music, and A Candle Which Will Not Be Put Out is stunning.
