Friday - to Shrewsbury for a meal with Karen and Dean. Karen used to teach with Jayne years ago then moved on to teacher training at Wrexham Uni (as it is now) then Edge Hill and retired in June. Dean came out of the army and became a chef at a pub in Shrewsbury. The meal was lame shark trainee followed by lemon and raspberry posset and a cheeseboard stacked with local cheeses. Superb. I drove there on the understanding Jayne would drive back. I drove back. 🙄
Saturday - to Brum to meet Su in the Good Intent then watch Blues get humiliated. Home to a lovely chicken arrabbiata cooked by Jayne.
Sunday - walkies! Hopefully in the region of 6-8 miles, but ultimately the weather will decide. Fingers crossed Sunday should see me complete an unbroken twelve weeks of 10k+ steps per day, which I'm pretty pleased with.

Well you certainly hit it yesterday. 15,000+ I did. I was in bed by 10.30

Yup - 15221 yesterday. Shorter walk than we'd planned today because Jac needed a lift from Chester station, but still did 6km and have achieved the goal of 10k every day for twelve weeks. 👍🏻

Walking and being in the fresh air is so good for your health, mental and physical. During lock down we went out for our Boris walks every day at lunchtime. JB was furloughed and I was WFH. We really should make more effort. Nowadays I WFH and can do less than 1000 steps. Shocking really

On my days off I get up at the same time as Jayne and go for a walk when she leaves for work. 90 minutes and I can do pretty much 6 miles - I do NOT hang about 😁
